PrintThe annual Polish Business Club awards are presented at a special ceremony at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. We call up those memories also so that we, ourselves, may realize how far we have come, how consistent were our efforts, in order that we may have a clearer vision of the future.
The setting provided by the Royal Castle interiors makes it difficult
to resist reflections on the history of the Polish state and nation,
the winding paths of our ancient and more recent history. We have
consciously chosen this place to honor those exemplary people and
companies. In the modern world, the main strength of a free, democratic
state is its economy. It is the economy that makes it possible to
fulfill the various demands and aspirations of the society, to supply
the basic necessities as well as meet the social and cultural needs. It
is the economy that determines our ability to keep up with the European
and world civilization and its progress led by the most highly
developed countries. It is the economy, finally, that determines our
sense of safety, both at home and in Europe.
The awards, prizes and national distinctions presented at the
Royal Castle are given in recognition of all managers and entrepreneurs
who worked hard and succeeded at this difficult period of the
construction of the free-market economy.

FIRM OF THE FIFTEEN YEARS OF THE THIRD REPUBLIC OF POLAND 1990-2005The goal is to find one's opportunity to develop during the Polish economy's transformation period and face up to new conditions and free competition. Today that may seem obvious. After all, we are backed by 15 years of experience. The new rules have eliminated many enterprises from the game, but most have made good use of their unique chance to break out of the backwater and strictures of central steering. The prize for the Firm of the Fifteen Years of the Third Republic of Poland, 1990-2005 symbolises faith in the certain results of good work. May it accompany all those to whom the 21st century indicates new goals and new tasks; all those thanks to whom Poland is becoming one of the important forces of European development.
